It's been nearly three years here in Lisbon and I finally worked up the courage to drop "VT" from our website domain. While I was at it, I decided to completely redesign our website to reflect the new CSA options that we now offer. And during the process I somehow deleted all my past blog posts. What an amateur move! I guess there is a reason why I am a farmer and not a web designer. But as any modern day farmer knows, farming is a business and we must learn things like how to manage a website properly. What can I say? Live and learn. I won't make that mistake again! Over time, I'll add some old photos and most certainly post the new. Bear with me while I find the time to get my babies back up here! Thanks for following along on our journey. Make sure to signup for our newsletter to see them first.

Meryl updates the blog with her photographs, funny farming stories and recipes for the grass-fed cook.“Why do farmers farm, given their economic adversities on top of the many frustrations and difficulties normal to farming? And always the answer is: "Love. They must do it for love." - Wendell Berry |
